Author Spotlight with Deanna Edens

Deanna Jones Edens graduated from Sissonville High School, West Virginia State University, Marshall University and John Hopkins University. She works as a Superintendent of Schools and teaches college classes part-time. Her books, Molly’s Memoir and the Angels of the Appalachians series have sold well on Amazon. All of her books are available to purchase on Amazon.com in paperback or for reading on a Kindle. Deanna donates proceeds from her book sales to the Humane Society.
Deanna will be presenting at the West Virginia Reading Association’s Annual Conference in November at the Greenbrier Resort and will be expounding on the background stories that inspired her to write Jinx at the Greenbrier, Sweet Springs: A Novella, and Pearl: You are Cleared to Land. The settings for each of these books are centered on the southeastern area of West Virginia. They include the history of the fabulous Greenbrier Resort in the 30s and 40s as seen through the eyes of a young girl, the various transformations of Sweet Springs Resort, and the authentic memories of Pearl Bragg Laska Chamberlain, from Summers County, West Virginia, who was a noted pioneer in the field of aviation.
I am personally honored to not only have Deanna as an editing client, but also a dear friend!
Deanna loves to hear from fans of her books, so feel free to leave her a message here on Between the Pages & Beyond and I guarantee you'll hear back from her!
